The Story
Some parts of life are clearly defined.

This pair explores the contrast between the lives we plan and the lives we actually live. The strong vertical strokes represent structure — the routines, expectations and boundaries we build around ourselves. But cutting through them are imperfect gestures: uneven edges, interrupted forms and marks that refuse to stay within a neat composition.
And then there is the gold.
It moves through both paintings like a thread — sometimes bold, sometimes partially obscured, but never completely disappearing.
A reminder that even when life feels fragmented, there is often something quietly holding it all together.
